We launched Impact in Action, our flagship event to harness collaboration in driving sustainable change. This marks the start of many more to come, as we continue to weave and nurture collaborations in the impact ecosystem.

Since 2017, over 328 social enterprises have been impacted by our efforts to grow impactful business. Through our first Impact Report, we highlight the journey of our business and the positive changes we made in 2023. The report details the footprints of our practice, from impact business empowerment, ethical practice, to stakeholder engagement.

Acting as a funding partner who provides innovative financing instruments that blend impact and profit, Instellar Investment nurtures and bridges Zebra companies to the funding ecosystem in the emerging market.

A new milestone marks Instellar’s journey as a purpose driven company that accelerates social innovation in organizations through consultancy, program, and investment. As the first and only B Corp certified impact advisory in Indonesia, we become part of the global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. This is how we walk the talk.

Instellar impact ecosystem grew and our programs began to touch on diverse topics. Our social enterprises are spread out across sectors, including creative industries, environment, agriculture and fisheries, sustainable energy, food and beverages, tourism, and health.

Instellar Impact Advisory (previously Empassion), the consulting arm of Instellar, was established. As consultant, Instellar helps social enterprises to reach the investment-ready stage. In the same year, we also met our first Non-Governmental Organization client.

Together with Instellar’s first corporate client, we organized our first co-creation program, a platform for communities of social entrepreneurs to share experiences, collaborate, and amplify their social impact. From this point on, Instellar catalyzes the growth of the impact ecosystem in Indonesia.

Through the Awaken & Rediscover Indonesian Social Enterprises (ARISE) event, Instellar introduced the Rise Inc. social enterprise graduates to the world, connecting them with key stakeholders in the impact ecosystem across Indonesia and the Southeast Asia region.

Stellar – there is a star within us. We believe that everyone has a star within, and each one of us is a center of expansion in this universe. Instellar was registered under the legal name PT Kanika Era Cahaya.

The year marked the launch of our signature program, Rise Inc., an incubation program that aims to grow potential, early-stage social enterprises. This is the beginning of our impactful journey.
